Introduction
The E2 is a very sturdy stunt kite and is fairly well made. Its sail fits snug and has interesting bat like points on the trailing
edge of the sail that are held stiff by a couple backside battens. The E2 also has easy adjustment features for different wind
conditions, both on its harness and on its standoffs. The E2 comes with its own line set and a fancy carry bag. For the
price, the E2 is a pretty good deal. It is one of many Prism kites made in China.
Dimensions, specs & cost
The width of the E2 is 7' 7", weights 10oz. and is rated for 4-25 mph. It is more like 6-20 mph. My rating is based
on how much wind it takes to keep it in the air without extraneous effort, and not by the manufacturer's specs. I purchased my
E2 from Into The Wind for $150.00. The kite comes with the option of a Prism instructional DVD.
The regular price is around $140.00.
Flight Characteristics
The E2 is an okay flyer. However, the wind range that it flies well in (its sweet spot) is a bit narrow and when you are out of it,
the E2 tends to have more than a little over spin. Still, the E2 was the second stunt kite I bought and I had many fun hours
flying it.
